How do I place an order?
Send us a message on WhatsApp at 083 355 7907 or email orders@theberggroup.co.za with what you would like to order and when you need it.
Can I place an order directly on the website?
No. The website is currently an information and enquiry page only. Orders are confirmed through WhatsApp or email.
How long does it take to get a quote?
We aim to respond to quote requests within 24 hours.
How long is a quote valid for?
Quotes are valid for 24 hours from the time they are sent.
When is my order officially confirmed?
Your order is only confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a written confirmation from The Berg by WhatsApp or email.
Do you require a deposit?
No. All orders must be paid in full in advance.
How much notice do you need for standard orders?
Standard orders must be placed at least 24 hours in advance.
When do I need to order for next-day delivery?
Orders for next-day delivery must be placed before 12:00 on the previous day.
How long do custom orders take?
Custom orders require at least 72 hours after payment, depending on the order. We will confirm the expected delivery timing with you directly.
How much is delivery?
Delivery within 15 km of Nelspruit is charged at a standard R50. Deliveries outside that radius are charged according to distance and the fuel price for the day, and the amount will be shown on your quotation.
What is included in the R199.99 small cake?
That price includes the sponge, icing, and a message written in icing only.
What if I want extra décor on a small cake?
Any extra décor or styling makes it a custom order, which changes the pricing and lead time.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation requests must be sent as soon as possible. Whether a refund is available depends on whether work has started, whether ingredients or décor have already been purchased, and whether the order is custom or personalised.
What happens if there is an issue with my order?
Please notify us as soon as possible after delivery. If the order is incorrect, damaged, or materially different from the confirmed order, we will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, credit, or refund subject to applicable law.
