How much is delivery?
Delivery within 15 km of Nelspruit is charged at a standard R50. Deliveries outside that radius are charged according to distance and the fuel price for the day, and the amount will be shown on your quotation.
What is included in the R199.99 small cake?
That price includes the sponge, icing, and a message written in icing only.
What if I want extra décor on a small cake?
Any extra décor or styling makes it a custom order, which changes the pricing and lead time.
Can I cancel my order?
Cancellation requests must be sent as soon as possible. Whether a refund is available depends on whether work has started, whether ingredients or décor have already been purchased, and whether the order is custom or personalised.
What happens if there is an issue with my order?
Please notify us as soon as possible after delivery. If the order is incorrect, damaged, or materially different from the confirmed order, we will assess the issue and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement, credit, or refund subject to applicable law.

Absolutly! You can collect your order from The Berg Bakery and Cafe which is located in the Engen Lekazi Motors QuickShop, 22 Chris Hani Road, Kanyamazane, Mbombela, Mpumalanga, South Africa.

• For standard next-day fulfilment, orders must be placed before 12:00 on the previous day. Orders placed after 12:00 may be moved to the next available delivery slot.

• The Berg will make every reasonable effort to meet quoted fulfilment and delivery times, but delays may occur due to demand, stock availability, weather, load-shedding, traffic, supplier issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Product images, colours, finishes, decorative details, and presentation may vary slightly from final delivered items, especially in the case of handmade or custom products.
• Small cakes priced at R199.99 include sponge, icing, and a message written in icing only. Additional décor, toppers, finishes, or custom styling are treated as custom work and priced separately.
• The Berg reserves the right to decline, cancel, or amend any order where a quote has expired, payment has not been received, delivery details are incomplete, requested specifications are unavailable, or an order is impractical or unsafe to fulfil.
• Customers are responsible for ensuring that all order details supplied to The Berg are accurate, including names, contact details, quantities, delivery address, requested wording, and any special instructions.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Berg will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the website or from an order enquiry, quote, or delivery arrangement.

3. Cancellation, Returns & Refund Policy- Because many of our products are freshly prepared, made to order, personalised, or time-sensitive, cancellations, returns, and refunds are handled subject to the nature of the order and applicable law.
- If a customer wishes to cancel an order, the request must be sent immediately by WhatsApp or email.
- If production has not started and no ingredients, materials, décor, packaging, or delivery arrangements have been committed, The Berg may approve a cancellation and refund at its discretion, less any non-recoverable costs already incurred.
- If production has started, if stock or décor has been procured specifically for the order, or if the order is personalised or custom-made, The Berg may refuse cancellation or apply a partial refund only, depending on the costs already committed.
- Custom orders and personalised items are generally non-refundable once work has started, except where required by law.
- Customers must inspect their order on delivery and notify The Berg as soon as reasonably possible if there is a problem with the order.
- Where a product is incorrect, damaged on delivery, or materially different from the confirmed order, The Berg may, at its election and subject to applicable law, replace the item, repair the issue where possible, or provide a reasonable refund or credit.
- Refunds, where approved, will be processed to the original payer using a method reasonably determined by The Berg.
